Bradenton-Sarasota, FL – Jonathan D. Fleece, leader of Blalock Walters, P.A.’s Business and Health Care Services group, was honored with the 2013 Community Service Award by the Manatee County Bar Association; one of only two awards given by the Association each year. The award is presented to the lawyer who demonstrates a commitment to the community and exemplifies the best of the lawyers of our community. He was a unanimous selection by the committee.

He is past Chair of the Manatee Health Care Alliance, Chair of the Health Care Committee of Manatee Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chair of Community Development & Communication of the Chamber, on the Board of Directors of Tidewell Hospice, Inc. and former Vice Chair of We Care Manatee, Inc. He is co-author of the acclaimed book, The New Health Age: The Future of Health Care in America.
