PRESS RELEASE: The law firm of Blalock Walters, P.A. is pleased to announce that local government attorney Marisa J. Powers has been named principal in the firm.

Powers is AV Preeminent™ Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and practices in the local government, land use, and litigation service areas. She serves as counsel to a wide variety of local government entities, including municipal, recreation and community development districts. Powers has advised boards, drafted ordinances, and reviewed agreements for various local governments. Her litigation practice includes businesses disputes, trust and estate disputes, title defect claims, and construction related controversies. Powers represents individuals, developers, builders, retail stores, non-profit organizations, title companies, and other businesses.
