Mary LeVine practices in the areas of probate trust, commercial and business litigation trials and civil appeals. As a commercial litigator, Mary currently concentrates in the probate and trust litigation representation of lenders in commercial foreclosures, work-outs and related bankruptcy issues, defense of title insurance claims, real property litigation, landlord tenant litigation, collections, Americans with Disabilities Act litigation, contract negotiation, litigation and dispute resolution. As a member of the Florida and California Bars, Mary has extensive California experience in insurance defense matters handling first and third party claims and coverage litigation.
Mary is a former member of the Girl Scouts of Gulf Coast Florida board of directors, serving the southwest Florida Gulf coast counties. Mary is past president of the Manatee County Bar Association and past president of Port Manatee Propeller Club. Mary served on the grievance committee for the Florida Bar for District 12B.
Mary was named as “Member of the Year” by the Port Manatee Propeller Club for her overall commitment to the Club, particularly for spearheading its charitable efforts regarding a maritime-related public art project unveiled late 2012. Mary has received the “AV Preeminent” Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. The ratings are an objective indicator of a lawyer’s ethical standards and professional ability. An AV rating is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence.
