Blalock Walters proudly continued our support of Winter Wonderland, downtown Bradenton’s signature holiday event hosted by Realize Bradenton. We sponsored the popular “Snow Slide” which was a huge hit with the kids! Local government attorney Marisa Powers serves on the Realize Bradenton board of directors.
Realize Bradenton surprised Mark and Marianne Barnebey, original founders of Winter Wonderland, with the naming of the carnival area, “Barnebey Family Carnival.
“Marianne and Mark Barnebey and their family began the tradition of Winter Wonderland, which they produced for over 25 years. Realize Bradenton is honored that the family trusted us to continue this beloved community event,” said Andrea Knies, Realize Bradenton director of communications & community engagement. “To recognize the Barnebey Family, their dedication to the community, and this beloved event, we dedicated the children’s game area and named it the Barnebey Family Carnival.”
