Blalock Walters is Scholar Sponsor of The Library Foundation’s 27th Annual Author Luncheon featuring Dorothea Benton Frank on March 14, 2014, 11 a.m. at Fete Ballroom at Polo Grill.
Founded in the mid 1980s, Manatee County readers decided to form the Library Foundation to provide long-term, ongoing support to the Manatee County Library. Over time, the foundation has grown and now provides supplemental funding directed to all the libraries throughout the Manatee County Library System. The contributions from the Library Foundation have enabled Manatee County’s libraries to purchase additional resource materials, engage in special projects and extend the Library System’s outreach into our community.
Blalock Walters attorneys Mark Barnebey (Advisory Board), Dana Gentry (Board of Directors) and Fred Moore are actively involved in supporting the organization.
