Blalock Walters is pleased to sponsor the 2015-2016 “Art of Performance,” The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art‘s annual performance series which includes The Ringling International Arts Festival (RIAF) and New Stages contemporary performances.
The 7th Annual RIAF, to be held October 15-18, 2015, will present the vibrant work of contemporary performers representing the many cultures of Asia. Artists and audiences from across America and around the world come together to experience the phenomenon of RIAF. The four-day festival features the vibrant and exhilarating world of contemporary music, theater and dance.
New Stages: The Art of Making Dance presents a four-part exhibition of new choreography created by artists participating in The Ringling’s emerging artists in residency program.
Blalock Walters’ Bob Blalock and Cliff Walters both served as Chair of the Board of Directors of The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art Foundation. The Education Center at the museum also bears Bob Blalock’s name for his instrumental part in securing the future of the educational institution.
