Bradenton-Sarasota, FLRobert S. Stroud has been named principal in the law firm of Blalock, Walters, Held & Johnson, P.A., one of Manatee County’s oldest law firms. Stroud practices in the areas of health care, business & corporate and real estate law.

His experience includes representing entrepreneurs, physicians, medical groups and real estate developers. In particular, he concentrates on matters related to formation of entities, partnership and shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, employment agreements, and other contractual issues. Stroud also handles regulatory and compliance engagements relating to Stark II, Florida Self-Referral laws, fee splitting statutes, fraud  and abuse, HIPAA and other licensure matters; and both commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Stroud graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the Stetson University College of Law, where he also earned a certificate of concentration in health law. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S.BA. in finance and economics.  He holds memberships in the Florida Bar, Manatee County Bar Association, Sarasota County Bar Association and American Health Lawyers Association.
