William C. Robinson, Jr.
Bradenton-Sarasota, FL – William C. Robinson, Jr., real estate attorney at Blalock Walters, has been appointed by Governor Scott to the 12th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. The Judicial Nominating Commissions select and nominate to the Governor persons found by the Commission to be legally and most fully professionally qualified to fill a vacancy. Robinson’s first order of business will likely focus on the Commission’s recent announcement of a vacancy in the County Court of Manatee County due to the retirement of Judge George K. Brown, Jr.
Robinson, 36, of Bradenton, is a principal and vice president of Blalock Walters, P.A., where he has practiced since 2003. He succeeds Adam Mohammadbhoy and is appointed for a term beginning September 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.

Robinson’s law practice focuses primarily in the areas of real estate, land use and zoning and development law. He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and B.A. in Finance with a Certificate in International Relations from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Manatee County Bar Association.
